iXM Camera Systems

The two Phase One iXM-MV100 digital medium format cameras, combined with the Linos 60mm/f4 lenses, enable increased productivity with a wider coverage compared to other area sensor imaging systems. An ultra-high resolution (11664 x 8750), backside illuminated sensor provides the highest image quality, the finest details, lowest noise and highest dynamic range at a fast capture rate.

Capture cradle

V-Twin Book Digitization Solution

Highly efficient solution for rare books that cannot be opened flat.

A robust, stable construction with two high-resolution cameras, allowing for an automated dual page capture workflow.

Desktop Book Digitization Solution

Agile solution with simple installation for small and medium-sized books.

A stable and long-lasting platform with one high-resolution camera system designed to optimize smaller digitization projects.

Capture One CH software

Capture One CH is a professional rapid capture solution dedicated to the Cultural Heritage community. Built on the renowned Capture One software, the Cultural Heritage edition offers a highly specialized feature set that delivers a significantly faster reprographic workflow during both capture and post-production.

The Slipstream mode – a simplified user interface front-end – allows for capturing to be handled by less-skilled operators, and speeds up the workflow, especially when working on large collections and large volumes of documents.

One of the biggest challenges for book digitization is the material handling. Having a solution that captures two pages at once, using high resolution cameras, allows us to almost double our digitization output, while ensuring maximum material protection. More automation with less repetition that is what we need.

Why Phase One?

A large part of the Cultural Heritage community works on the digitization of rare and delicate bound materials. Digitization of books often requires special attention to the binding, which can be fragile, and will determine how the material can be treated in the process. This can sometimes be the limiting factor when looking for fast capture.

Phase One book digitization solutions, copy stands, facilitate an accelerated and high quality capture process while remaining attentive to material safety.
